A class as well as a personal project I worked on using the printmaking method of silkscreening.  It took three weeks and is comprised of 13 layers of acrylic ink.  The piece is titled descending and transcending based on the concept of human turmoil, the ups and downs that we as individuals face on a daily basis as well as how society experiences periods of prosperity as well as times of recession. The imagery depicted as well as the colors chosen are meant to show this concept in an almost seamless manner.
